Another Jersey lady who was helped by a vagrant after she came up short on gas on an interstate in Philadelphia has raised more than $60,000 for the great Samaritan.
Kate McClure, 27, began the Gofundme.com battle not long ago after she said she came up short on gas on Interstate 95 and a vagrant, Johnny Bobbitt Jr., strolled a couple of pieces and got her some with his last $20.
McClure said she didn't have any cash to reimburse him at the time, however, came back to the street a few times to give him money, garments and nourishment.
After a couple of visits, she began the pledge drive with the expectations of utilizing the cash toward lodging and different costs for the 34-year-old Bobbitt.
"I wish that I could support this magnanimous man, who made a special effort just to help me that day," she composed on the raising money page. "Really trust that all Johnny needs is one little break. Ideally, with your assistance, I can be the one to offer it to him."
Gifts have poured in, and the pledge drive has smashed its objective of raising $10,000 for Bobbitt. Around 2,000 individuals had given to the battle by Wednesday evening.
