Khaleda in court

BNP executive Khaleda Zia on Thursday showed up under the steady gaze of the Exceptional Judge Court-5 at Bakshibazar in Dhaka, to shield herself in the Zia Halfway house Trust unite case.

The Bangladesh Patriot Gathering (BNP) boss achieved the temporary court around 11:00 am to put her self-preservation for the fifth day.

Prior, Khaleda showed up under the watchful eye of the court four times where she guaranteed herself guiltless, asserting the case had been documented on political ground.

As indicated by the charge sheet of the case, the BNP boss, her child Tarique Rahman and four others stole more than Tk 21 million by shaping the philanthropy.

The court had before issued a capture warrant against Tarique for the situation.

In July 2008, the Counter Defilement Commission documented the Zia Halfway house Trust unite case with Ramna police headquarters blaming six individuals, including Khaleda and her child Tarique, for misusing millions.
